Specialist Dementia facility fundraising launch
On a very hot day in May, we launched a £3m fundraising campaign to create a new dementia centre called Murray House. The event was held at Carfrae Mill in the Scottish Borders.
Hosted by Doddie Weir there was much fun and laughter. Those who attended the lavish event were provided with excellent food and drink. Dodi Weir hosted the event as MC. The after dinner speaker was John Jeffrey, he former international rugby union player , AKA ‘The Great White Shark’ and JJ, t who kept the crowd entertained.
This was the first of our fundraising events and we are pleased to announce that we raised £36,000! We thank everyone who attended and took part and hope they enjoyed the day.
